Judge Certification
|
This is an overview. A full explanation
can be found on wotc's site along with an official list
|
Level 1 - requirements
- Take the judge certification test and get at least a 70%.
- Judge for at least two events, one of which must be under the supervision of a Level 3 Judge
- Be interviewed by the Level 3 judge you worked with - they must be willing to recommend you for certification
(they complete a written review of each candidate and submit this to the DCI)
|
Level 2 - requirements
- You take the judge certification test again (a different version, same difficulty level)- and score higher (90%)
- You have to judge a lot of events (at least six, but this is a minimum)
- You have to write two articles for the judge's page at wotc's website
- You have to be recommended by a Level 3

Do you live in the Delaware Valley Region? (Eastern Pa.,NJ,Del,Md)
I would be happy to help you become certified. I run tournaments once a month in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.(Legends Tournaments) You
can take your test then and get in some judging (or play in some events). Let me know if you are interested
in working on becoming certified. I also recommend that you take the rules test on this
site to help you prepare for testing. Its so much nicer if you pass the test the first time. |
